The Director of the University of Algiers 3, Professor Khaled Rouaski, chaired this Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the headquarters of the university rectorate in Dely Ibrahim, the installation of a committee for the rehabilitation of the sports facilities of the University of Algiers 3.
In his speech, the president emphasized the importance he attaches to university sports and the development of the university’s sports infrastructure, stressing the importance of quality training for institute students, especially since the institute has experienced professors with national and international reputations in various sports specialties.
On this occasion, he also called for the conclusion of the largest possible number of agreements with social partners in the field of sports, which will allow institute students to benefit from internships.
He added that the university administration provides all the material and human resources to ensure the success of the committee in fulfilling its missions.
For his part, the Director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports, Professor Fathi Yousfi, welcomed the initiative of the president and the interest he gives to the development of university sports, stating that this committee will make qualitative additions to the university.
The committee members also intervened to highlight the importance of their role and missions, and to express their willingness to work towards achieving all the objectives assigned to the committee.
It should be noted that the committee for the rehabilitation of sports facilities will be responsible for rehabilitating sports infrastructure in order to host official national and international competitions.
